At this stage, China does not have high pressure sterilization equipment and other major parameter measurement specifications and specifications related to sterilization equipment.

This article discusses the pressure, temperature and time calibration methods of autoclave sterilization equipment.

1. The basic parameters of high-pressure sterilization equipment

The rated working pressure is below 0.25 MPa.

Calibration method of pressure indicator:

To ensure the reliability of the results, please follow the following basic principles:

1. Environmental conditions:

Temperature: (20.5)c. However, the effect of temperature needs to be evaluated and corrected in the calibration results.

Relative humidity: no more than 80%.

2. Indicators: _

The measurement range of the selected standard machine equipment must exceed or be equivalent to the measurement range of the effective working pressure indicator, and the absolute value of its larger allowable deviation must exceed 1/ of the absolute value of the larger allowable deviation of the effective working pressure indicator 3 (large number) or 1/4 (simation).

Pressure calibration method for autoclave sterilization equipment

1. Method-field calibration

This method is suitable for manual steam discharge valve autoclave sterilization equipment, and the working capacity is small. High-pressure sterilization equipment usually has a metal hose at the tail of the exhaust valve, which can discharge cold air reasonably. Therefore, the metal hose must be connected with the pressure checker to ensure air tightness, that is, the pressure indicator of the autoclave equipment can be calibrated on-site.

Business elements:

The pressure resistance of the metal hose should be greater than 400kpa. If not, it should be replaced to meet the requirements of the pressure connection hose, and the pressure density of the calibration system should not exceed 0.1kpa/min.

Calibration equipment: _

The standard device selects digital pressure gauge (not less than 0.2, the upper limit is not greater than 500 kPa) or precision pressure gauge (not less than 0.4), the upper limit is determined by the pressure indicator, and the matching equipment selects the air pressure calibrator (stability is greater than 0.02%) , The working pressure is greater than 600 kPa).

The upper limit of pressure calibration of the field calibration method is often limited by the rated working pressure of the safety valve installed on the autoclave.

2. Method two direct comparison method

This method is suitable for autoclaving equipment with test connectors. Usually large, direct steam.

Business elements:

Connect the pressure gauge to the pressure connector in the pipe of the sterilization chamber. If the pipe thread on the pressure connector does not match the pressure standard thread, the connection method should be adopted to ensure the reliability and air tightness of the connection.

Calibration equipment:

The standard adopts a digital pressure gauge (not less than 0.2, the upper limit is not more than 500kpa), the use environment should be 140c, and the measurement performance remains unchanged or can be corrected. If a precision pressure gauge is used (not less than 0.4, the upper limit depends on the measured pressure indicator), the allowable error should consider the additional error caused by temperature changes.

The direct comparison method uses the steam pressure in the sterilizer as the working medium. Due to the limitation of the steam working pressure, the calibration point cannot cover the measurement range of the pressure indicator according to the rules. Since the sterilizer needs a constant pressure when selecting the working pressure, it cannot be done in practice. There are always pressure fluctuations. Therefore, the calibration must be fast, accurate, and multiple readings to determine the calibration result.

3. Three real-time comparison methods

This method is suitable for various high-pressure steam sterilizers, and the standard device adopts wireless measurement and connection.

The standard sets the working procedures according to the instructions. After completion, put it directly into the sterilization room near the pressure indicator, start the sterilization device, and calibrate the work when it reaches normal working conditions. The influence of the pressure fluctuation of the autoclave on the calibration result should also be paid attention to.

Calibration equipment:

Pressure wireless measurement system (the detection accuracy is not less than 0.2, the upper limit is not less than 500 kPa, and the environment is not less than 140 degrees Celsius), which can measure pressure in real time, display and record the measurement results.

The standard indicator is usually collected and recorded directly by the computer according to the time interval. Compared with the direct comparison method, it has the characteristics of flexible installation position, simple operation method, strong applicability, and the use of a microcomputer in the display device during the calibration process. 4. Method 4 record comparison method

This method is applicable to various high-pressure steam sterilizers and compared with the real-time method. The standard uses a wireless measurement system for recording pressure, and its technical requirements remain unchanged. Compared with the standard device used in the real-time comparison method, the device is small in size and suitable for smaller working spaces, but the recording type lacks the function of real-time measurement data transmission, cannot accurately grasp the calibration process, and can only passively accept the results. In order to make the measurement results reliable, it is often necessary to extend the calibration time, or when the calibration results are not satisfactory, many operations are required to obtain the best calibration results. The calibration result is processed according to formula (2).
